HI Ho All.
Been a very busy few weeks for both Kimberley and I. Kimberley is just back from a conference in Vegas where she was working a booth and also presenting to clients and displaying her expertise. From the sounds of it, she had them lapping up all the information she had to offer, and then wanting more. As for myself, it's just been hectic with various work projects keeping me hopping.
Ahhhh.....but here we are, still enjoying the sunshine in La Paz, for another week or so. The weather has cooled off a bit with daily highs around 80 to 85 and nightly lows to the 60's, but it is enough that the locals are bundling up n their parka's and mittens to keep warm at night.
Many of our big boat projects are finally getting close to completion. The floors have now been completely re-varnished, the stainless is clean and awaiting a coat of wax, and life is slowly getting back to normal. I'm sure you can imagine, in a small and enclosed space, it really doesn't take much to feel like you're in a total state of chaos, but once the projects are complete, it all proves to be worth it.
Our plans still have us in La Paz for another week or so, and then we may head out to anchor for a few weeks before heading back across the sea to the Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta area. Looking forward to getting across the sea and seeing so many places we haven't had an opportunity to visit as of yet.
Some friends, fellow Canadian Cruisers from Vancouver area have setup a Cruisers Christmas in La Cruz, which is not far from Puerto Vallarta, and surprisingly, my aunt and uncle will be only a few miles away soaking up the sun, sand and cerveza, so we're looking forward to seeing them.
Tanya and Kevin, thanks for the note....please keep them coming. It's nice for us to be able to keep in touch with friends and family back home.
All the best everyone. We'll raise a margarita with your names on it.
Cheers
